Dont forget that before deciding which route to follow you should always take under consideration the weather forecast and discuss with us which destination is better for you to follow.
Normally you should be arriving to Athens on Saturday. Depending on the time of your arrival you can either come directly to your boat or you could visit the city center of Athens, take a tour with our transportation throughout the most famous sightseeing and finally taste the traditional recipes with the view of the Acropolis. At the same time all of your luggage will be transferred to your boat and you will find them loaded when you arrive to the marina. You can get familiar with the boat and relax in the evening before departing the following day.
Sunday:
You first destination is KEA which is the first island of the Cyclades group. On you way to KEA you can stop in Sounion bay for swimming, relaxing and start feeling the atmosphere that surrounds you. The Poseidon temple (located on the top of the Sounion Bay) is considered to be the fortress of the God of the sea while he would suppervise his kingdom, the sea!
Leaving Poseidon behind and heading to Kea is approx a 2 hour sail to Vourkari which is the main port of Kea. In Vourkari you can find many tavernas with delicious traditional food and a number of bars for those of you that find it difficult to sleep.. The bay is quite large and is friendly for sailing yachts that want to anchor and spend the night.
Monday:
Heading to Syros is quite easy and pleasant. Ermoupolis is the main city of Syros but the capital of the Cyclades as well. The island is well know for the highj quality archtecture and beautiful colors domonating the view of the port. You have two choices for anchorage (with permanent facilities we mean) and these would be either Finikas, located in the South of the island or Ermoupolis which is at the same time the main port of Syros. In Ermoupolis, we suggest you to have a walk in the city and have a look at the university of Syros that is considered to be an example of the higher education spirit of the island
Tuesday:
Your next stop could be Tinos. The island is well known for the religious culture. It is said that in Tinos there is a church where miracles happen. The story advises that if you prey under the roof of this church then God will someway help you resolve the difficult situation you are trapped in. For this reason every August there are thousands of people from all over the world come to deliver their gift in order for their wishes to be heard.
Wednesday:
Mykonos, here I come!! Well known for the parties and wild night life, Mykonos is a really magnificent island with many choices for those of you that wish to relax or for the others that want to party. In terms of visiting Mykonos with a boat please note that the marina is still under construction and the facilities are very basic. Our suggestion is to enter the port early so you can find a slot available. You should expect a lot of wind, therefore in case you do not find a place you should head to the south side of the island to spend the night in Ornos bay.
Thursday:
Leaving Mykonos behind is not that easy. She is after all a beauty of the Greek islands. Going to Paros is an easy sail, having the wind on your back most of the times. Paros is a very beautiful island of the Cyclades as well. The main port is Paroikia (where the ferries arrive), a more traditional location would be Naousa that has a small marina for you to anchor.
Friday:
Although our map has a stop in Ios, we highly recommend to spend some time in Antiparos as well. It is really on your way to Ios and we are sure that you are going to have a great time. A perfect location for anchoring would be the south side of Despotico, that is a small island across the southest point of Antiparos.
When you finally reach Ios you will be dazzled by the calmness of the local people who treat life in a steady pace, leaving worries behind. Ios is a marvelous place well known for the spitit of nature that lets you relax in piece and quiteness

Saturday:
By know you should be in Santorini. For many recognised as the nicest location of the world. Well known for her volcano, Santorini is an eye catching princess in the Aegean sea. For sailing boats the island is not very friendly in terms of facilities and space available since the only possible location for you to moor would be Vlychada, that is an old shelter for fishermen that is called 'the marina of Santorini'. Keep a note that the depth of the sea level inside the Vlychada port may be less than 2 meters deep which means you need to be quite cautious as to where you can spend the night onboard.
After Folegandros we suggest you to visit Milos. For crystal clear waters enthusiasts Milos is the best destination, especially if you are sailing with your own boat. Sailing to the soth side of Milos will reveal a paradise for o and your crew. Drop an anchor, spend some time in this magnificent place, we are sure you will enjoy it. For those of you that are keen on the idea of spending the night on anchor in the middle of nowhere, this is the best place to be. You have the island to cover you and on the other side nothing standing in your way. Try that, it will be one of the stories you will gladly describe to your friends in the future. Milos has a very beautiful port as well, ADAMAS, which is located in the center of the island. The entrance of the port is located in the northern side of Milos.
Your next stop is my favorite island, Sifnos. Not really able to explain why, however it is something so beautiful with the atmosphere of this island that every time I really want to go back. Sifnos has three locations for you to moor. On the south side there is a new marina in Platis Gialos with all facilities available. You would be located a bit far from the city but you will be in a normal marina! Your next choice, if Platis Gialos is packed and you have strong winds from the north, would be Vathi bay. While sailing along the south side you will see a small entrance that will reveal a huge bay inside. Vathi is a location that only yachts and small crafts could approach until 10 years ago, when actually the main road reached Vathi from the land. It is a very calm and nice location for you to moor. The last place available for you to drop an anchor is the main port of Sifnos that is called Kamares. This would be a quite live place with many restaurants and small café in case you wish to have a walk. No matter where you actually moor we strongly suggest you to take the taxi (only 8 available in Sifnos) or Bus and spend some time in the main city, Apollonia. Such a beautiful atmosphere that I am sure you would like to go back as well as myself!
Leaving Sifnos behind and heading to Serifos is an easy sail and quite protected. Serifos is a very unique island with two main characteristics: crystal clear waters and the main city of Serifos that is built in the tallest mountain of the island and is the 2nd highest located city of the Greek islands. The port is not so protected from the Northern winds but is very spacy so I am quite sure you will manage to moor safely. We strongly suggest you once more to take the bus and visit the city all the way up to the mountain. The view will surely pay you back.
As your trip reaches the end you are about to visit Kithnos, which is a quite beautiful Greek island with very nice beaches and places to visit. You have two places to moor: either Loutra, which is quite nicer and more traditional place to visit, or on the other side Mericha port which is basically the port where the ferries stop as well. Both places have restaurants and facilities for your sailing boats. No matter which of the two ports you will choose you will definitely need to drop an anchor in the most beautiful beach of Kythnos which is called KOLONA. You will see a small piece of land connecting two islands dividing this way the sea in two pieces. You can actually walk from one side of the sea to tea other in only 50 steps!
Your last day is the return day when you have to start coming back to Alimos port. Coming back to Alimos is quite easy but we suggest you to start a bit earlier and if you like to stop in Sounion bay for a swim and a lunch break. We expect you to be back full of happy faces in the afternoon, to spend the night having a drink onboard in the marina! I am sure you will have many stories to remember!
