It’s so hard to put into words how marvelous our trip was. We sailed the Peloponnese peninsula and some of the islands. George met with us the first day and asked questions to determine what plan would best suit our desires and needs. He always has a plan A and plan B which is critical when the weather doesn’t cooperate. I suspect he’s also got a plan C but we never needed that. George takes great pride in delivering an outstanding trip. He considered so many factors when we went to different places. He’s not just a captain he’s a host, tour guide (an excellent historian) weather man, master story teller and entertainer, rental car driver, liaison when you’re trying to communicate at the restaurants with the servers and a truly genuine thoughtful and kind guy. I had my parents on the trip who are in their 70’s. George was so good with them I was able to sit back and relax as he interacted with them and answered all their questions as we sailed and at every port. I quickly learned to say YES when George asks, “Would you like to...”? Because it was always a terrific suggestion and fit perfectly with what we wanted to see and do. George is such a professional and knew when we wanted more activities and when we needed to chill out. He went so far and above my expectations and truly made this the most memorable and enjoyable vacation I’ve ever had. You will understand the bla bla bla picture below if you spend any time with George 😉. Now let me not leave out Eugene and Joanna. Eugene was extremely kind and gracious to answer my emails with my many questions and because he knew I was traveling with my parents he upgraded us to a bigger nicer catamaran when it became available at the last minute. We called it the floating hotel. The boat was sparkling clean upon arrival and we had zero issues with the boat the entire trip. Joanna was so kind to help advise me on ordering groceries and making me feel completely comfortable with questions about wire transferring the payments for the boat. We are planning our return trip next year with George to the Ionian Sea side with the rest of the family. Thank you George, Eugene and Joanna and the rest of yachtsailing.gr family!

This is my first time on a catamaran. I didn’t know what to expect so everything was a new experience for me. From the time I arrived at the Alimos Marina and was greeted by Joanna and Eugene I felt very comfortable. In a short time we sat down with our Captain, George, who explained the salient points and answered all our questions. As we left the dock and went sailing, I knew this experience would be everything I hoped. Every morning sitting on the deck with my coffee was enchanting. New ports of call, meeting new folks in the town was a sweet experience. George suggested places to eat, shop, and noteworthy sites to check out. Probably the highlight of each day was our evening meal with Our Captain. He shared memorable sea stories, and his experiences on the seas kept us laughing and up late. We were sad pulling back into the marina as the trip came to a close. This was a trip of a lifetime for my husband and myself.

Fantastic week on Vegas!
This review is a little late in coming. We, my partner & two adult children with their partners, had a fantastic week on the Vegas with skipper George Maleas in the last week of April. From our initial contact with Eugene and his team we found the entire process of arranging our week charter, stress free. The advice and information Eugene provided us made our holiday planning very easy.We had initially planned on sailing around the Cyclades but as Eugene told us, the weather eventually dictates. Getting to Alimos marina from central Athens was straight forward on the train and light rail; so too getting our essential week's supplies from the nearby supermarket. At our initial briefing on board George was thorough and helpful. We discussed our 'wished for' itinerary and in discussion with George and noting the weather forecast, changed our trip to be in the Saronic Gulf Islands. While the weather was average temperature wise, we had a fantastic week with George's knowledge of places to go and sites he identified we might be interested in. These included a great day's trek in Hydra, other walks/excursions and cafes and restaurants. We were apprehensive as to how the dynamics might work with three family couples and a 'skipper'. We need not have worried.George was fantastic. We never felt that he was imposing himself but we greatly enjoyed his company and varied conversations we he joined our family group. The yacht was impeccably clean with heaps of room to enable three couples their own space and a galley that enabled some superb meals to be prepared All in all a fantastic experience with a very professional team and great skipper. PS; In our emails planning the trip Eugene was very helpful with cost estimates. However, fuel was estimated being approximately EUR 150 to 250 per week however it turned out to be significantly more at over EUR 500, perhaps reflecting the fact we did more cruising than sailing than anticipated. Best Trip EVER
We just returned from a week of sailing in Greece, aboard a catamaran with Yatchsailing.gr. There were 8 of us, all from the USA and we sailed with Captain George Maleas. I honestly cannot say enough good things about YachtSailing.GR and George. I am an Event Planner by trade, and when I started planning this trip, did not feel comfortable with some of the other charter companies I was communicating with. A friend of a friend recommended YachtSailing.gr, and from the get go, Eugene was super fast and easy to communicate with and answered all of my dumb questions. They provided transportation for us from our Air BNB In Athens fairly last minute, and organized return cars from the dock to the airport for us at the ungodly hour of 3AM. Everything was seamless, the boat was in fantastic condition, and my expectations were surpassed. George as a captain was absolutely fantastic. He was professional yet fun, gave it to us straight, helped us make informed decisions about where to go, and we trusted him completely. Having experienced this kind of trip, I know now that the Captain can make or break the trip and George definitely made it for us. I can't recommend him enough. We all agree that we will be doing this again in the future, and we wouldn't change a thing (except maybe make it a bit longer... :) ) Thank you YachtSailing, Eugene and George, for a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to see you again in the future and recommend you to any and all friends coming to Greece to sail.

Glorious Experience with Narayan and Fedra
WOW and WOW! Trip of a lifetime for my husband and friends. From the beginning we were respected and informed of exactly what our week of sailing would include. This is a not your cruise ship holiday. This experience has been fun, filled with scenery beyond belief, breakfasts and lunches that were visually and absolutely delicious. Additionally there were afternoon appetizers. How Fedra prepared such exquisite meals in such a small kitchen was a work of genius. Her support to our captain was amazing to watch also. Captain Narayan was professional, experienced and certainly knowledgeable. We were given various routes we could take before we left port under his advisement. His skills and attention to detail and safety made us all very comfortable. Being older and less agile Narayan made sure I was able to get on and off the boat with little concern and fear. He was very accommodating to all of us. I really appreciated the fact that a couple warmer nights he made sure we could hook up to power insuring our air conditioning in the rooms worked well. If you are up for a massive fun experience and don’t want the run of the mill mass people cruise package or a polished pristine snooty sailing experience then book with Yachsailing.gr
