A vacation to remember! - Visited June 2018

From the moment I reached out to Eugene via email for the first time, to the day we sadly said our good-bye’s, the team at yachtsailing.gr was phenomenal! Angelo not only made us feel safe the entire week, he also created an itinerary for us that checked off each one of our requests! Vicky was hands down the best decision we made for the week!! She took such great care of us...having our coffee in hand within minutes of waking up each morning and fed us amazing authentic Greek cuisine every day! We wanted to bring her home with us!! Sailing was a new adventure for all 4 of us but it will definitely not be our last...it has proven to be a phenomenal way to travel! Thank you a million times yachtsailing.gr for helping us to make memories that will last a lifetime!!

Amazing trip on the Poker Face with a great skipper!

We had an incredible trip over the past week on the Poker Face catamaran. Our skipper - Theodore - went above and beyond to make our voyage extremely fun, relaxing and memorable. We visited the islands of Hydra, Paros, Kithnos, and Siros - it was a ton of fun. From the very start the team at YachtSailing were extremely professional and accommodating. Theodore put together a fantastic itinerary based on our preferences, and kept a keen eye on the changing weather. One note: when ordering food ahead of time, make sure to confirm quantities as they tend to buy in kilos and not individual items (so 3 carrots actually means 3 kilos of carrots!). Overall, couldn’t recommend this trip any more. Amazing boat, fantastic crew, and beautiful sights. We’ll be back!

Excellent service made for a wonderful trip.

We returned a week ago from a 6 day trip on the Poker Face catamaran. It was wonderful. There was great communication from the beginning with Eugene and we felt like he worked with us on the price and listened to what we wanted in a boat. Once we arrived, we were thrilled with the catamaran. It was roomy, and had areas both in the sun and shade that we could hang out it. Our captain, Thodoris was the consummate professional. He sat down with us and we determined out itinerary together. He suggested a place that we had never heard of, and it ended up being off the beaten track, and the highlight of our trip. He worked hard to ensure our comfort, even moving the boat one evening to reduce wave action, and changing out the mooring ropes so that the noise at night was reduced. There were only three of us on the yacht, but we felt the price we paid was very reasonable. It was such a treat to have it just for our small family. My only suggestion is that you really don't need to bother with getting groceries ordered ahead of time. Each island will have grocery stores near the docks, and you can get whatever you want, without waste. It was very easy to get the provisions, as well as find great, reasonable restaurants nearby. Eugene met us upon our return to ensure everything was great on our trip, and it was. We hope to sail with this group again in the future.

I went on a trip with 3 other guests (2 couples) in late April/early May and we had an absolutely phenomenal time, and loved working with the Yacht Sailing Gr team. Upon first email, they were quick to respond and providing lots of clear information around every question we asked - Eugene made us feel like we were covered. Prior to arrival, they helped us with grocery shopping and stocking the boat. Finding the boat at the marina was easy (took 5 mins!), and they generously gave us an upgrade to the Poker Face because our other catamaran was having some engine issues. Poker Face is an astoundingly beautiful boat - everything was not only clean, but working in perfect order. So many wonderful places to lounge, read, play games or have a drink. Within an hour of getting situated, we were out on the water making our journey (groceries were already loaded in on the boat!) Eugene was there to greet us and helped us get situated, manage payment and work on route with our captain, which leads me to my next point... Our captain Theodore was incredible - he helped us plan a route that accommodated ALL of our needs/desires (less crazy/crowded, balance of Saronic islands and Cyclades), all while factoring in weather and experience on the journey. We had so much fun with him, and it wouldn't have been the same trip without him. All the same, he was also respectful of our space and gave us time to hang out independently as well. He was respectful, hilarious, accommodating, and always made us feel safe on the boat. Had lots of great restaurant, bar and hangout recommendations along the way that were phenomenal. Our journey was unforgettable and covered so many places we wanted to see in a short amount of time - Hydra, Kitnos, Paros, Siros and back, all in 6 days. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Our experience was so wonderful, I already have plans to return back to Greece and hopefully work with YachtSailing to explore other areas of the Cyclades for a longer period of time. The boat is your home base, your transportation and your entertainment - I loved life every day. I cannot thank the team enough for taking us out to seas, offering endless great recommendations and making our trip so special. We'll see you again soon!!

Just spent a magical week cruising around the Cyclades with captain George Maleas and our group of three couples. Having never done a trip like this before, we had lots of questions that were patiently and thoroughly answered by Eugene via email in the months leading up to our departure. Joanna was also helpful and kind while helping us with transfers, boat provisioning, and payment. We couldn't be happier about our amazing experiences with yachtsailing. Everything far exceeded our expectations from the quality of the catamaran to the places we visited to our knowledgeable captain. George really knows these islands well and took us to some beautiful coves for swimming and quintessential little island villages for exploring. We visited Poros, Milos, Kimolos, Serifos, and Kythnos and each island was more beautiful than the last. Thank you, George, Eugene, and the entire yachtsailing team for an unforgettable experience! It was a trip of a lifetime!

Just returned from a fabulous mid-June week cruising around the Cyclades. Eugene and Joanna were a delight to work with and were very helpful with transportation, boat provisioning, and answering our many questions prior to the trip. Our boat, Poker Face, was comfortable and spacious for three couples. And our captain, George Maleas, was a perfect fit for our group -- professional, laid-back and friendly. He set an itinerary that was well-suited to the group and always seemed to be one step ahead in terms of timing at marinas or scenic stops. He was very well-connected on the islands and knew great restaurants, bars, and swimming spots. A highlight was spending a night anchored in a beautiful cove, swimming and paddle boarding through caves, and enjoying a wonderful dinner on the boat. A huge thank you to George, Eugene, and the entire YachtSailing team for the outstanding trip!

We are a family of five who travel often. Everyone agrees that this was one of our favorite trips ever. Our skipper George Maleas and hostess Josie were integral in making memories we will not soon forget. They both listened carefully to what we wanted and made suggestions accordingly. We ended up completely changing our itinerary based on their suggestions and were sooooo happy we did. We saw and experienced things the typical larger Greek Island Tourists are not privy to. Also noteworthy was the superb (REALLY superb) communication from the team (Eugene in particular). Rest assured this is a company who states all costs & information BEFORE booking. An honest company that can and should be trusted.

Bucket list!
We recently spent a week on a Lagoon 450 that we chartered with Dimitris and Dora as our superb captain and hostess. - Eugene's communication is outstanding .... we traded probably 45 emails with fine details about our trip beginning 6 months prior. And it was great meeting him, particularly as we debriefed with him at the end of the trip where he truly wanted to hear what went well and our suggestions for improvement - The rest of the yachtsailing.gr team was great too, particularly Joanna - Dimitris is a wonderful captain and person. He collaborated with us on the route and islands, gave us great island recommendations, helped negotiate prices with the local merchants, and talked with us forever about life, Greece, culture, and family - Dora is a wonderful, friendly, and helpful hostess - Our catamaran, a 45-foot lagoon, was beautiful and well-maintained Everything was "as advertised" ... Eugene and team go out of their way to make sure that communication is excellent and expectations are very clear. The only concern I shared with Eugene is that the check-in process was a bit chaotic, due to the large number of boats going out that day. If you're planning to sail in Greece, I highly recommend yachtsailing.gr!!
