This was an amazing experience on all levels. The scenery and islands are a highlight of course, yet the crew made the trip. Captain George and Babis on the King of Diamonds were a dynamic duo. Babis' food was to die for and we hated eating out as it didn't compare. Captain George was so helpful, and on a rainy day helped us arrange rental cars to explore and it turned out to be one of our favorite days. He was determined to find us the best spots. He even taught us a card game (he didn't like the one I showed him so much lol) and shared lots of history about the area, especially about the Macedonians. From start to finish it was truly one of the best trips we've taken and better than I even imagined! Can't wait to come back!!!!!!

A group of 4 lifelong friends from around the world set sail with our spouses aboard the King of Diamonds catamaran for seven incredible days around the Saronic Gulf - truly the experience of a lifetime. Captain George Maleas tailored the itinerary perfectly, blending lively ports for shopping with great dinner spots onshore and crystal-clear anchorages for swimming and relaxing. Chef/first mate Babis Katsianis amazed us daily with outstanding Greek meals, beautifully presented and adapted to every need. Private cabins with showers and spacious common areas made it easy to enjoy both social time and quiet moments. Tip: bring a comfortable pair of water shoes for climbing rocks, exploring caves along the shore, and short hikes to ancient structures.

We had a fabulous time on King of Diamonds with Captain George and chef Babis! They took care of every detail, taking us to stops to swim and relax and islands to play and explore. Captain George handled the dinner reservations on land and Babis took care of us on the ship. Babis' meals were 5+ star all the way. His chef training was seen in his exemplary dishes and presentation, always catering to our needs. We had a vegetarian in our group and the dishes were exquisite!
Captain George picked the most perfect locations to swim and relax, the waters so clear you could see to the bottom. We sailed the Saronic Gulf and he made our vacation perfect!! Would highly recommend George and Babis and hope to sail with them again!

We had the BEST time sailing the Cyclades islands on the King of Diamonds catamaran with Captain George and Chef Babis! They made our trip truly unforgettable!!! Captain George took time each day to help us plan our trip, which island to visit next, what to do at each port, making dinner reservations and help with ATV reservations. He listened to each of us and found the perfect combo of swimming and SUPs in beautiful bays with fun on each island. Babis is a fantastic chef and made some incredible dishes and great variety of food! We enjoyed every meal he served and loved talking with him about his love of cooking. George and Babis make a great team!!! Thank you for a trip of a lifetime!!

This trip was absolute perfection. George is knowledgeable and gave us the best recommendations for swimming holes, ancient ruins and restaurants. Our host/chef Babis took care of us with the most amazing meals. This was the best way to experience Greece.

What a wonderful vacation this was! It was the most visually stunning place I’ve ever been to (and I travel a lot). The blue water, the buildings on the islands, and literally a week of sun. You literally throw down the anchor and swim in the comfortable Mediterranean Sea! This is the company and boat to go with. 100% customer service from the booking to the final day. The King of Diamonds is an extremely comfortable and luxurious boat. The captain George is amazing and will taylor your journey however you want. Extremely easy-going and kind, also went with his dinner recommendations each night in town. The chef/first mate Babis is also wonderful. His cooking skills are second to none, each meal was a highlight in itself. I did not know what to expect coming into this vacation, but it ended up being one of the most relaxing and beautiful weeks I’ve ever had.

I really can't say enough about how good this experience has been for me and my family. I didn't know what to expect, as this was my first sailing adventure but George and Babis were an incredible crew. Their suggestions about the route we took and the experiences we had will stay with me forever. This really is the best way to see Greece. If I could, I would give them much more than 5 stars. Fantastic experience! George & Babbis do everything to ensure an unforgettable sailing trip. They know the most beautiful bays and have good tips for activities on land. The food is delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, spacious, luxurious, laid back Catamaran; King of Diamonds.

Amazing trip around the Cyclades in July 2024. The King of Diamonds is the best catamaran I’ve ever been on, it was in beautiful condition, very big, and super comfortable. George Maleas and Babis the chef were incredible, best crew in the world, I can’t wait to sail with them again

Amazing company combined with world’s best captain and chef combination. Captain George Maleas always knew the best secluded lagoons to anchor up. We also visiting some amazing towns. Babis our Chef would prepare fresh meals from scratch that were out of this world. I cannot imagine a better vacation. If you are planning on traveling in Greece you need to book the King of Diamonds with George and. Babis.

There are not many times in my life that I am speechless- this is one of those times. It is hard to describe the beauty of each port, the mouth watering meals, the feeling of being the only passengers on this extraordinary cat. The crew had an amazing way of making you feel instantly comfortable - understanding your preferences, having your coffee ready when you came out of your cabin, sharing favorite restaurants and sights to see in each port, finding the private bay to hang out for an afternoon swim, and adjusting the schedule as needed to have a perfect day! I would stay another month and definitely should have booked another week. I highly recommend George Maleas and Chef Babis as well as the King of Diamonds- it was an adventure worth every minute.

Visiting the Greek isles for a week with family really couldn't be anything but great, but our trip on the King of Diamonds catamaran was beyond our expectations! We had perfect weather and smooth sailing, but honestly Captain George Maleas and Chef Babis Katsianis were the keys to such an amazing vacation.

Our group of 4 (including two 20 year old boys) spent a week visiting 4 islands in the Cyclades and then 3 islands in the Saronic Gulf. Capt George set our daily destination travel plans, but always consulted us on where we'd like to go/what activities/vibe we were feeling for our next stop. We were very open to his suggestions and he never steered us wrong! We visited small, quiet islands like Kythnos and enjoyed a hot spring on the beach and incredible fresh red snapper at a local restaurant for dinner. We also spent time in larger more vibrant places like Ermoupoli, Syros where we took a long walk up to an incredible view of the city and harbor, followed by another delicious meal in a friendly Greek restaurant. We even got to "enjoy" a very late night impromptu celebration right outside our boat doors when a pro basketball team won the championship! Our daily islands stops included shopping, ATV rentals with island exploration (one of the best days we had!!!), a ferry to Hydra to see the donkeys, beach bars for too many cocktails and general sightseeing in beautiful Greek towns.

But leaving the boat and experiencing the different islands was only half the trip--- being on the catamaran was equally wonderful. The boat itself is large and since we only used 3 of the 5 bedrooms, we felt like our group had plenty of space when we wanted it, but not too big to feel impersonal. Some of us (me) spent a fair amount of time laying in the sun reading a book and enjoying the travel time to the next stop. Our kids loved using the paddle boards, kayak, and sea scooters for snorkeling. Since we were at the beginning of the summer season the water was still pretty cold for the older members of our group:) The guest rooms were nicely appointed with good sizes.

We felt extremely spoiled and well-taken care of by Chef Babis. We did not expect to have such high quality/ fancy food while on the King of Diamonds. Babis is incredibly talented and over-fed us every day. Our college age sons were obsessed with his daily breakfast spread and all scrambled eggs will forever be compared to "Babis' eggs"! Our dinners included grilled sea bass, celery root puree, asparagus risotto, braised short rib pasta and dozens of other amazing salads, seafood and sauces. I was lucky enough to have my birthday during our trip and of course, George and Babis pulled out all the stops and prepared an incredible meal, great wine and friendship to help me celebrate.

Our family cannot recommend this trip and this boat and this crew enough. George and Babis were professional and knowledgeable and also incredibly kind and fun. They helped us make dinner reservations and found cool activities for our crew whenever we were on land. George even gave us great guidance for the 2 days we spent in Athens once we were off the boat. If we could book them again for next week we would!!!
