It is not impossible to find a hotel with the sea view (not as the one a sailing yacht can provide). In order to do so however you will most probably need to pay a fortune for a day and at the same time you would need to carry your beach bag while walking to finally have a swim. Relax, dive for your morning swim, explore unspoiled bays and enjoy the freedom of setting your own schedule at your own pace. Visit different location every day (if you like) or stay anchored in your favorite imaginary spot. Taste unique dishes from the taverns that are located in isolated places you could only access from the sea. |
Wake up in the same location and try to prepare a schedule for the day. Most common option would be to go to the beach (along with hundreds of guests). Depending on where your hotel is you either have to go to the same beach every day or drive with a car or bike to the next available beach. Another solution would be to use the local daily trip that are not flexible, not customized and most of the times will be packed and uncomfortable. |

Most probably you will have to get a ferrie to visit the island you have selected. Once you arrive you will go to a hotel and following that you will visit the so called 'chora' which is the city of each island. The beaches are accesible by car (so is for all of the visitors of the islands) and the same stands for the taverns as well. Same view, same places and same dishes each day. |
PRIVACY

When it comes to privacy, the sailing cruise has incomparable value. You are totally isolated (if you want to) and enjoy all locations from the most touristic to the most unexploited ones onboard your floating home. This means total privacy, freedom and relaxation. |
Exploring the Greek islands, visiting Greece with the normal means of transport AND privacy DO NOT go together! You will have to share the locations and beautiful scenery with other visitors of the same islands. In addition if you choose an activity other than going to the beach (like a day tour) most probably you will be spending your time and space with hundreds of co-visitors. |

A stay in a hotel is not necessarily a bad experience. On the contrary it may come up to be a nice vacation with smooth outcome. The similar environment you will be visiting sometimes may be boring in a way however some people find it amusing. Nevertheless it cannot be compared with the experience of a private sailing cruise. |
COST VALUE FOR MONEY

A private sailing cruise is really affordable. If you add up the cost for a family or two with their children following, or a group of friends that wishes to spend their vacation together the average cost for a couple is really cheap. If you consider the added value of the above benefits that only a sailing trip can provide the value for money is incomparable. The per person cost adds up to a range of 400 to 700 / Euros per person per week. |
If you add up the cost of the rooms required for the number of guests you will be visiting you will see that renting a medium range hotel is more expensive than a sailing cruise. If you consider booking a nice hotel of the upper class with a fraction of the sea view a sailing yacht can provide, we suggest you to think again. The important key factor is that this will be just the cost of a hotel. You will have to add up the costs of extra transportation to get to the islands but also to move while you are in the islands as well. |
EXTRA POSSIBILITIES

Onboard our sailing yachts or catamarans you have the possibility to try snorkelling whenever you want (all of the yachts are equipped with flippers and masks at many sizes to fit everyone). In addition you can cook onboard or let our hostesses prepare different dishes each day according to your gastronomic preferences. Each yacht is equipped with a minimum a one or two big fridges but also freezers in some of the options |
There are not much to say about extra activities in a hotel. You can always use the restaurant of the hotel but can it be compared with having dinner on the sea? |
